Love Island All Stars Set to Return for Season 2
Former Contestants to Flock Back for Second Chance at Reality Stardom
Despite Low Ratings in First Season, All Stars Set to Make a Comeback
The first season of Love Island All Stars aired earlier this year on ITV2 and ITVX, featuring 12 former contestants from the popular reality show. The spin-off series, which aired alongside the main series, failed to attract a large audience, with the first episode drawing just 1.2 million viewers.
Despite the low ratings, ITV has confirmed that All Stars will return for a second series. Producers are reportedly being bombarded by former contestants eager to take part, with over 100 applications already received.
The second season of All Stars is expected to air in 2024. It is not yet known which former contestants will be taking part, but it is likely that some of the most popular stars from the main series will be invited back.
The return of All Stars is a sign that ITV is confident in the format, despite the low ratings of the first season. It will be interesting to see if the second season can attract a larger audience and become a successful addition to the Love Island franchise.
