JPEGMAFIA has released his fifth solo album, 'I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU', on August 1, 2024. The 13-track effort features guest appearances by Vince Staples, Denzel Curry, and Buzzy Lee. The album explores themes of capitalism, conscription, the war on drugs, and patriotism.

JPEGMAFIA previously released the singles "dont rely on other men" and "SIN MIEDO" earlier this year. The album's title track is a powerful and personal anthem that finds Peggy grappling with his own mortality and the challenges of living in a world that is often hostile to black people. On the new album, Peggy handles mixing and executive production duties and keeps the guest list light with features from Denzel.
