Packed elite female field at 2024 IRONMAN World Championship in Nice, France
More than 50 of the world's best female triathletes will compete for the title in Nice, including reigning champion Chelsea Sodaro.

Sodaro, who won the 2022 IRONMAN World Championship in St. George, Utah, will be looking to defend her title in Nice. The Australian will face a strong field of challengers, including Lucy Charles-Barclay, Laura Philipp, Anne Haug, and Kat Matthews.
Charles-Barclay is a two-time IRONMAN World Champion (2017, 2018) and is always a threat to win. Philipp is a former IRONMAN 70.3 World Champion and has won several IRONMAN races, including the 2022 IRONMAN European Championship.
Haug is a former Olympic medalist (2016) and has won several IRONMAN races, including the 2019 IRONMAN World Championship. Matthews is a two-time IRONMAN 70.3 World Champion and is one of the most consistent triathletes in the world.
